Chris Matthews
Owner/ Director Exercise Physiologist
After four years studying at university of Canberra, Chris Matthews became an accredited Exercise Physiologist. He is highly experienced, having worked with various client types, including those with metabolic conditions (diabetes and cancer), musculoskeletal injuries (muscle and tendon tears), chronic conditions (scoliosis, osteoporosis and osteoarthritis), post-operative patients and athletes.
Over time, Chris has come to realise the importance of fundamental movements in optimal functioning and well-being. It is this that underpins my approach to health and fitness. Chris is passionate about integrating his clients’ individual objectives with a meticulous, fundamental training regime that enhances outcomes and improves performance.

I grew up participating and competing in various sports which helped me build an interest in the mechanics and rehabilitation process of exercise. This led me to complete four years of study at university to become an Accredited Exercise Physiologist. I have completed both individual and group sessions with clients of all ages from young to elderly with a wide range of experience, conditions and backgrounds. I am passionate about maintaining a sustainable and holistic approach to exercise programming in order to help my clients achieve their goals and improve their overall wellbeing.

I take a holistic and client-centred approach to care, ensuring exercise is not only safe and effective, but also practical and engaging. Whether supporting rehabilitation, improving strength and mobility, or building long-term confidence with movement, my goal is to help individuals feel capable, resilient, and supported at every stage of their journey.
